Loved it 😊
A great story and narrations. Can’t wait for the rest of the series. The best historical romance I have read and not ott on the sex scenes.

Brilliant & Amazing!!
As a devoted historical romance reader I am always on the hunt for new writers and stories in the field. This was my first Cheri Champagne novel and I was blown away by how instantly, from the first chapter, she had be in a vice grip. Her writing is eloquent, fast paced and full of drama and emotion that its just a joy to listen. What I really love is there is so much action in this story, right for the opening scene. Our heroine, Juliana is BADASS and I adore that, in a time when woman are not allowed much control over their lives she manages to strike out and find her own way. Leo is our reclusive Lord with a tortured past who stumbles across a distressed Juliana and sparks fly and it is beautiful to watch and get swept up in their evolving love story.
The dream duo of Zara Hampton-Brown and Shane East just heighten the sparkling nature of this story with their talented tag team of dual narration and swapping multiple times within a chapter. Its fantastic and adds to the fast driven pace of this book. I loved everything about it and eagerly waiting for the next book in the series. I seriously can't wait.
