About this listen
An IndieBRAG Medallion Honoree and was a finalist in the Chanticleer Book Review CLUE Awards for 2013 and the Chanticleer Mystery and Mayhem Awards for 2014..
A biking and camping trip to southeastern Minnesota turns into double trouble for Frannie Shoemaker and her friends as she deals with a canoeing mishap and a couple of bodies. Strange happenings in the campground, the nearby nature learning center, and an old power plant complicate the suspect pool and Frannie tries to stay out of it - really - but what can she do? After all, she is only curious, but sometimes it isn't just cats who have trouble with that!

A superior mystery
I am loving this series, An excellent mystery with fun, well described and likeable lead characters. On one hand the murderer was obvious on the other how it was done is cleverly shown and there are several other side stories that make you doubt your conclusion. An interesting little twist at the end. The narration really brings the characters to life and adds to the enjoyment of the story.
I was given a complimentary copy of the book

More camping fun and mystery
I have listened to a few of these now and they never fail to impress. the stories are fun and work as a standalone story because each book is a new mystery. The author writes well and the characters are believable. Narration is excellent as ever. looking forward to the next instalment.

Murder, mystery, and more murder
Being a fan of the narrator already, I had great expectations and I'm happy to say I wasn't disappointed.
An unusual mystery that kept me interested right through.

Well narrated cosy mystery
The characters find murder in yet another campground. This series is not for nervous campers!! The plot progresses in a fairly predictable fashion, with the desire to shout at the detective to figure it out already quite strong at times. There is a definite attempt at plot twists and red herrings in this one —- but they come a bit late in the plot to make them plausible. The revisiting of the characters and the humorous foibles they exhibit along the way make this book. Narration was well suited to the story and main character. Good pace and lots of expression. I received this audiobook for free in exchange for a review.

Delightful Listen!
Karen Musser Nortman has created a great series with the Frannie Shoemaker character, and Peete and Repeat does not disappoint. This book is both a standalone listen and part of a series. Being familiar with southern Minnesota, I could envision much of the campground. This book brings back many happy memories of camping as a child. This book includes a murder mystery that has many suspects and red herrings. I love it when the killer or motive is not obvious. Michelle Babb was wonderful bringing the characters to life with her voice. I could hear the various characters, and found her to add to my enjoyment.

A great Cozy Mystery
I really liked this more then I did The Blue Coyote. We don't have to wait long before the bodies are found and the mystery begins. I guessed who did it quite quickly but I still liked it. I found it to be funny at times. This is a type of story that would be good made into a film, it has the background the different characters and the amateur detectives.
Michelle Babb does a great job in bring the characters to life.
Would recommend to all!
No language/sexual content, with some mild violence.
