About this listen

All of the Osho audiobooks are created from his extemporaneous talks, and in this volume reflect the intimate setting in which they were given, with small audiences of those gathered in the Oregon commune around him. Everything is on the table - belief in God, the meaning of compassion, what happens when we die. In sharing stories from his own life, bringing new insights to old parables, and challenging his listeners to examine their own conscious and unconscious beliefs, he begins to create a new and more authentic "narrative" about what we human beings are doing on this planet, and why we are here.

very slow and boring

This is a late Osho and he sounds very tired and rambling. In all honesty I can't see any charisma or even a coherent argument. He tells a portable and his listeners burst out into laughter and when Osho tells is not very funny joke his devotees still burst out into laughter. The second chapter on Death being the Ultimate Orgasm hardly talks about death and orgasm, but instead it merely carries on the ramble on religion from the first chapter.
In advaita they do indeed talk about the bliss of not two. Not two is indeed bliss, which is death (death being part of this illusory place). There is much wisdom in comparing the after-this-body state to the next, as orgasm because we have a pointer. Alas, you can think this only is metaphors. They say Nisargadatta and Ramana were there while still in the body. Was Osho also there?
But Osho here makes zero attempt to explain anything. He has a captured audience. He is the god to is worshippers and any god can be rambling and still they clap and clear.
I won't dismiss him so quick tho. Maybe an earlier collection of recordings will be advised me thinks.
