This was my first Anaïs Nin novel, and I am so pleased with my decision to pick a spy in the house of love. Anaïs has a beautiful style of writing. Maybe I am in the minority but I really loved the narration in this audiobook.

The narrator lacks emotion and is so monotone, it was difficult to tell apart the telling of actions and thoughts to conversation.
