About this listen
Spicy Urban Succubus Fantasy with elements of supernatural multi-partner relationships and light character progression.
Please read warning and author’s note below.
University life can be a real grind, and for twenty-two-year-old Dane Staley that means long hours in the library and not a lot of time for a social life. Not that he’s complaining. As a self-confessed bookworm, the library is a place of comfort for him. That is until he goes in search of research materials in a little used section of the lower level and his life changes forever.
Most people’s eyes aren’t ever opened to the reality that humans aren’t the only inhabitants of this world. How will Dane cope when he’s confronted with the truth and everything that comes along with inadvertently binding himself to a supernatural being? Will he succumb to the pressure or rise to the occasion?
Find out in this spicy urban-fantasy romance, with lots of paranormal intrigue and self-discovery.
Warning: Accidentally Summoned Succubus is a spicy urban fantasy adventure. It is obviously pure fantasy, so expect unrealistic over-the-top spicy/steamy situations, some wish fulfillment, a little sophomoric humor, strong language, and a heavy helping of naughty bits. Oh, and a bunch of supernatural creatures, too.
Disclaimer and author’s note: This is not an alpha adventure. The main character is intentionally not an alpha-male who dominates and takes charge, especially not in the beginning of the story. He is a young man completely out of his element, who is thrust into a situation that exposes him to a fantastical new world and new possibilities. He struggles with his new role, and with help, he begins to grow into his new situation and abilities. He sees the friends and lovers he gathers along the way as partners, not as subjects.
I understand the alpha-male trope is popular and there are many authors who explore it very well. However, it is not a trope I explore in this story or this series. I’ve added this disclaimer to try to clarify what my story is and avoid failing to meet any reader’s expectations who were looking for something different.
Thanks for reading and if you choose to give my book a try, I truly hope you enjoy it.

A more gentle Urban Fantasy
I listen to a lot of Urban Fantasy, and this has shot to one of my favourites - not because of the saucy bits (They are there, but if that is your only reason for listening, others are more descriptive) but because of the gentle entry to the world. The Hero does not suddenly become all powerful, but gradually through the book discovers the world, and starts to grow in his abilities. The characters are well rounded and interesting with a nice group of core member with a great dynamic.
I cannot wait for book two - this is my first review (But I have been an avid listener for years), and I have written it in the hope it will help ensure that book 2 comes to Audible!
