I may be small and pretty, but what I lack in intimidation factor, I make up for in violence.

As strange as it sounds, Xaviaro seems to want to help me more than he wants to hurt me. I can’t shake the man no matter what I do. Threatening him feels like foreplay, tying him up only turns him on… I could play nice, but that’s never been my strong suit.

I’d be lying if I said he wasn’t starting to grow on me, especially when he calls me his Deadly Little Sparrow from his knees. I’ve never met a man who could handle me, let alone one who can’t stop begging me for more.

Can love and revenge live in the same heart? I guess there’s only one way to find out…

I struggled to read the book, and am so so happy I decided to listen instead. It's an epic example of how great narration bring characters to life. This story is spicy hot, with gentle humour to soften the tragic backstory. Who knew murder could be so romantic!!

Any killer/assassin/hitman/psychopath being a ruthless murderer BUT a total marshmallow for his lover is the only thing I want in a Mafia romance.

Absolutely amazing I loved every minute of it Xaviaro and his sparrow were just perfect and their dynamic was everything they were hot hot hot . I am definitely going to have to wait patiently for book 2 .

One great narrator, and one not so. Chose this book due to Mr Russo, but pretty soon into listening, facts about the MCs not mentioned in the blurb come to light and are just not logical, or realistic and the more the story continued the more I felt the tale stepped away from credibility to such an extent I stopped with more than half to go.
