About this listen
Rachael Nightingale is a workaholic theatrical dresser in the middle of a failing marriage to an alcoholic. Hugh Davidson is the passionate, middle-aged British stage star internationally renowned for his incredible Shakespearean heroes. When the two of them form a professional partnership, it isn't long before things begin to heat up between them, and the magic of the theater threatens to break both of their hearts in more ways than one. Their attempts to turn a backstage tryst into a long-term love affair lead both of them to wonder: Was it only a showmance, or is this the real thing?

What can I say. Three amazing books, in one setting, each as brilliant as the last .
Showmance.
Is wonderful romance , set in the world of stage and theatre. Rachael is a workaholic theatrical dresser. Whose marriage is falling apart, she is married an alcoholic. Who admires an established, older British leading man Hugh Davidson . Rachael is working hard at managing relationships and wanting to join top ranks of NYC theatre professionals. This has the right amount of steam.
Nightingale.
Hugh our famous British theatre actor who is at least 25 years older than our Rachel who is in her mid-20s and works back stage as a dresser. Both of them continue to work through heart problems as Hugh returns to NYC to direct and Rachel works nearby. Perfect with the right amount of heat.
Mistress Mine.
Hugh, is working on his relationship with Rachel. Both failing and then stepping up. Loved this series .
