This is book two in Managed, a rock star romance series.

Hailey is hired as Jasper’s PR representative after a sex scandal hit social media and damaged his career. Her job is to rebuild his tattered reputation.

As she works with him, she finds he is a different person than the rock star image he shows the world. Before she knows it, she feels herself becoming lost in his eyes.

When he tries to kiss her, she felt her life spinning out of control. In desperation, she ran out in the street with him following her. Wanting to catch up with her, he never noticed the speeding taxi that struck him.

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. This second book follows seamlessly book one. I couldn't stop listening. Although Hailey and Jasper are so frustrating, I have to see what they are up to in order to make it to the end. I just hope neither of them does something stupid that they can't recover from. Hailey is such an innocent and Jasper has a bit of innocence to him as well. However, bringing in Matthew (the douche) and Jasper's latest (the slut) adds a little spark to this story. The ending of this book puts the listener on pins and needles until the next book. The narrator does an excellent job with telling this story and the emotions involved.

Managed two is an excellent follow-up to the first book. The storyline is fantastic, wrapped in romance, sensuality, drama, and uncertainty. The couple is getting to know each other on a more intimate level, Hailey is seeing the real Jasper. Moreover, it appears that road to HEA for Hailey and Jasper is not going to be a smooth one. Laurie West continues to do a brilliant job with the narration. So far, I'm loving this series and, and strongly recommend it.

I liked more this one than the first, the story went smoothly from the beginning when they were in the "honeymoon" period, until the very end when they were in each other's throat.

I gotta say I didn't like the fact the h accepted being with that Matthew guy just to forget Jasper. It was really out of the blue, she hated him and he abuses her. I didn't get it. Also Jasper going back to his old ways just to protect the h didn't seem believable.

But I really enjoyed and couldn't put it down. can't wait for the next installment!

Hailey and Jasper's journey towards a love relationship together continues to be fraught by misunderstandings and obnoxious unworthy love interests. Hailey's relationship with the really obnoxious sexist colleague, Matthew is particularly distasteful yet she remains somewhat oblivious. She is not following her heart or trusting her gut that tells her something is off with Matthew and his motives. Jasper's forays with manipulative co-stars and desperate fans are equally jarring. By the end of Book 2 I was rooting for Jasper and Hailey to acknowledge how good they would be together.

I really do not like the shortness of the audiobooks and would love for 4 of the two hour novellas to be put together into one novel. The two hour book is over before you blink and It creates a disjointed feel as I read other books in between and lose momentum and interest in the story. I would rather review the story in its entirety. The lack of engagement created by the short length is however not deserved as it really is a fun read. The pace is good, the characters are well-developed and the themes of bullying, self-esteem, loss, and finding people to trust in the world are very relatable and subtlely handled. I love Hayley's mantra to do good in the world and it is rewarding to see Jasper progressively drawn to both her activities and her light.

As with Book 1, I find Kaurie West's narration of the female parts excellent, the male parts, not so much. She has a great voice to listen to and her reading has a lovely flow.

Hailey’s boss decides to take Jaspers account from her and give it to Matthew , no matter how much she argues that she’s done good work he won’t give in. Jasper stands up for her and says he will pull his account from the firm if they take Hailey off so her boss gives in reluctantly . When Hailey leaves the room her boss all but threatens Jasper telling him the only person with anything to lose is Hailey so Jasper decides to be distant with Hailey . He starts being a complete ahole towards her which leaves her hurt and confused yet all along Jasper still won’t admit he has feelings for Hailey and vice versa.
Another great book following Jasper and Hailey it’s hard listening to them be bitchy with each other knowing deep down they love each other , hopefully the next book will have them realising this.

Another fantastic book in this new series they just keep getting better and better I love these books they pull at my heart strings make me want more And tantalize my senses
Over all this is a 5 star read thoroughly enjoyed every single word the narration was fabulous!

Jasper and Hailey's journey continues as Jasper is injured and he wants Hailey to nurse him back to health. She is beginning to feel undervalued as her boss wants to replace her with another PR manager but Jasper quickly puts an end to that idea however there is a caveat involved that forces Jasper to back away and now they both have people in their lives that seem to have ulterior motives.

The tone and pacing of the narrator draws you in and makes listening a pleasurable experience.

I loved listening to Laurie West, who is perfect narrator for this great book series.

This is the second book in the series and will not disappointed you. We have it all. Hailey and Jasper are getting to know each other . There is romance fun, drama and you know it going not going to be easy with these two.

Clarissa Carlyle continues to suck me into the lives of Jasper and Hailey with book 2 of her Managed series. Circumstances and cognizant decisions are keeping these two apart! It is so frustrating they cannot see what is right in front of them. Or do they? Jasper is doing his best to keep her at arms length and it's pushing her into another! But the chemistry is still sizzling, and Hailey is still doing her best to build his image despite anything that is coming to light. Great characters, and a fun plot has me invested in the outcome of this couple. Another cliffhanger has me loading book 3!

Laurie West continues to bring her magic to the narration of this series. Love her Aussie accent, and I am really enjoying her voices. She is smooth and easy to listen to.
