FAB book & was sad when it came to the end!
Initially I didn’t like the voice of the narrator but I quickly got used to it and couldn’t stop listening to it. Great escapism and entertaining. Easy to become fond of the characters too. Will definitely seek out more books from Kat French- and will probably listen to the story again. May even buy the hard copy to read!!

Entertaining story!
Really enjoyed this romantic tale ....... Funny and endearing characters with an absolutely brilliant narration. Pure escapism and glad that I followed reader recommendations - I can see why this book is a best seller.

Great narrative, loved the accents!
Brilliant story, from an old porn star, wigs, a talking bird, cow boy singer, nutty ex's and a bit of sunshine and romance. what more could you ask for? loved it, highly recommended

One of my favourite audiobooks this year!
A really lovely, feel-good romantic comedy. Definitely one of my best listens this year. Brilliant narration too.

loved it!
I loved the characters and story and didn't want it to end. Penelope was the perfect reader for this story, just fabulous, she highlighted the humour perfectly. I'll definitely listen to this book again, always the sign of a real gem.

Blissfully taken to another place
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, the characters were relatable and I was hooked from the start.
Just the right amount of drama and balance of tension and despair
