This story is good and the writing is very good too, the characters were great, and the flashbacks helped to get into their heads and get a decent feel for the story.

The story/plot is very interesting too, plus the little sex scenes were hot, which is always a plus, lol.

Loved the short story style where you are not sure if any more is coming or not on each story line. Genius.The erotic scenes were panty-droppingly,heart shudderingly decadent .Engyn Mackenzie weaves a sexual spell around his listeners leaving us begging for more.He 100% did the author proud with this mind blowing belly clenching performance .Now I could tell you a about Colt and lily but that would be cheating and I think that their true story is too complicated to put in to a review with out giving away epic spoilers.Just know that this is defiantly worth your time.Its Seductive ,Provocative sensual and has a great story with many twists that I didn't really see coming.Engyn Mackenzie's voice is sensually inviting and brings the story,world and characters to a simmering, sensuous sizzle.This book stands on its own as fantastic story, the fact it is read by Engyn Mackenzie is double double chocolate frosting on the cake ;) Teresa Mummert has a very interesting and intricate writing style.The mixture of these two talents is heady and intoxicating .I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator. In theory this book is perfect. I loved the writing, very much. I did however have a few issues with the story, as much as I loved both Colt and Rose, both characters annoyed me no end. Colt especially, because he was not consistent with his feelings and actions. He said one thing and five minutes later did something else. I loved their history, and I loved the story and the situation they found themselves in, I just couldn't always comprehend their actions. There was a lot happening, at times I felt bombarded with too much information, I had to stop and think about all the characters and what exactly was happening. Overall not a bad audio book, the narrator fitted Colt perfectly.
