Overall a great read. Easy to follow story broken down into 3 parts which makes this a great bedtime read. Juicy in parts but certainly not "50 shades" tackiness!!

This is not normally a genre I read or review, being more of a crime thriller enthusiast, but I found it quite refereshing. It is not often an author performs an audio book they have written, but in this case, Ms Ormerod does an extraodinary job.

The narrative is crystal clear and well-paced and the story in unforced and natural. The sex scenes are done tastefully and unlike some books in this genre, the story line is well executed, with a very unexpected twist towards the end. Other audio books I have read, especially ones by authors whose characters I am familar with, have been disappointing; mainly because the narrator is an actor who attemps all the voices. That is one reason why I prefer to read them myself, so I can provide my own voices in my head.

With this audio book though, this isn't the case. It is read clearly in the same voice all the way through, which makes it much more similar to what I would experience if I were reading this book myself; a proper reading experience, and I must say I really prefer it. I am now going to look for more books narrated by this lady. Very impressed.
