Summary
Kat O'Connor is no pushover. She's a no-nonsense girl with a common-sense approach to life. But there's nothing common about what's happening to her lately....
First she was forced to have a kinky mind ménage with two of the hottest and most irritating men in the galaxy - Twin Kindred warriors Deep and Lock - in order to locate her kidnapped friend. Then she couldn't get their feelings out of her head. And now she's on her way to their home planet, Twin Moons, to find a cure for the debilitating illness their unorthodox joining caused, when all she really wants to do is go home.
Locks Tight, the light twin of the two, is already in love with Kat. Her curvy, plus-sized body is the epitome of beauty on his home planet, and her sharp mind makes her doubly attractive. Though he fell for her the moment he saw her, Twin Kindred are unable to mate a woman alone. Lock knows nothing can happen between them without his brother....
Stabs Deep. The dark twin has a secret agony in his past - a tragedy he feels he and he alone is to blame for. He, too, hungers for Kat, but he hides his fear of rejection behind an impenetrable wall of angry sarcasm. For if he lets anyone get too close, the unbearable pain he has already endured once may happen again.
Now Kat and her twin warriors are on a quest - but they're all looking for different things. Kat wants to find a way to dissolve the half-formed bond between them so she can be alone in her own head again. Lock wants to convince both her and his brother to complete the bond that will keep them together forever. And Deep is trying to protect his heart and love Kat from afar...though it grows more and more difficult to deny the hunger he feels for her growing inside him.

Great story
Really interesting story if you ignore the dreadfully cheesy sexual stuff. Cringe worthy. The narrator is awful. Her male voices just do NOT work. Her Deep voice especially when he is talking dirty is about the worst I have heard in a book. This story would have benefitted from a male & female narrator. If you can switch off from the truly dreadful narration, it is actually a good story

Needs a different voice.
Loved the story, just needed another narrator as well as the one utilised. Disappointed with no male oration.

Emotional book let down by uneven narrator.
Would you listen to Sought again? Why?
Not sure. The narrator does good female voices but terrible male voices. The book itself is good in parts too. It has emotional power - made me cry at the main crisis point, when the split occurs. Deep is a jerk, but not a heartless one, and he has an interesting backstory. Lock is the mild-mannered diplomat who just adores his lady. The resolution is a bit dea ex machine, but hey, this is sci-if fantasy, so I can buy it. For some reason, the encounter Deep has, and which resolves the plot, was more powerful on the page than read out loud.
The sex was always going to be a tricky area in this set up, and was not entirely successful: the author seems to want it both ways - to make the sex with twin kindred appear incredibly kinky and daring (for humans) and perfectly normal (for twin kindred). That half-works until the twin Deep starts treating it as kinky as well, which makes no sense in the context, and results in some cringe-worthy moments. That said, it is pretty sexy overall and nice to have a plus-size woman as a heroine and sex goddess. The passage on the Twin Moons continent, where the three are made to reenact a Creation Myth, is touching as well as sexy.
What three words best describe Anne Johnstonbrown’s voice?
Can't do men.

Seriously hard work
The story may have been good - couldn't tell from the sheer awfulness of the narrator, accents bad, woodenly delivered . I don't think this the right genre for the narrator
