This is a good book with well rounded characters. I enjoyed the chase that started in the beginning very much. A great performance.

A bit over 5 hours of twists turns and heat, sounds like a great afternoon to me. This is definitely a worthy book of a credit and so is the rest of the series.

Sabine is kidnapped by Maddox in an attempt to save his brother/friend Ragnvald and the rest of the pack but she has her own mind and will push against their demands that she must now stay. Sabine was the string feisty sister a lot of fun to listen too. Story was well written and enjoyed the narrator who brought the book to life with with all the angst and drama so well. Recommend this book 😀

I downloaded all five books in this series and accidentally started listening to this one first. I have read some of Lee Savino's other books (different series) and loved them, but I am sorry to say that I was disappointed with this book. Not much happened other than the berserkers kidnapping Sabine and forcing her to stay with them until she submitted to them. I like my heroines in dom/sub books to be sassy and confident, and really push the boundaries with the hero(s). Sabine wasn't anything like that at all. I also felt uncomfortable listening to some parts of the book. I don't often leave books unfinished, but I couldn't finish this book.
