In 2007, three Muslim university students left the Canadian Prairies, seemingly without a trace. In the ensuing months, their disappearance raised fears that the men had become "radicalized," posing a grave threat to national security. From presidential briefings and targeted drone assassinations to a politically charged trial, the men's story sheds new light not only on the figure of the "radical," but also on the "moderate" Muslim, represented by a community forever changed by the men's departure.

This is more than a book. It’s a respectful, compelling, scripture-based invitation — especially for Christians — to rethink what they believe about Jesus, God, and the true path of faith. This book does not insult the Bible. It does not attack Christianity. What it does is open a sincere conversation — comparing what the Bible and Qur’an actually say — to show that Islam is not a new religion, but the final stage of the same divine message taught by Abraham, Moses, and Jesus (peace be upon them all).

C’est le cas du désir pour la nourriture par exemple. D’autres l’aident à repousser ce qui pourrait lui porter préjudice, comme la capacité à se mettre en colère notamment. Ceci étant dit, quand le désir de la nourriture devient excessif, il se transforme en gourmandise nocive. De même, la colère, quand elle n’est pas maîtrisée, devient nuisible.

The contemporary postnormal world is posing for Muslims ever strange ethical, financial, and medical dilemmas for which modern jurists are expected to provide a suitable theological response. Yet even with an encyclopedic knowledge of Islamic law, the task facing them is daunting. In the real world this level of complexity has led to chaos in fatwa issuance with many scholars voicing concern at the direction to which things are moving and calling for the process to be regulated.
