Произведение является обязательной частью школьной программы. По этой пьесе А. Даргомыжский написал оперу Русалка. Пушкин известен как автор многих выдающихся произведений: "Пиковая дама", "Руслан и Людмила", "Евгений Онегин", "Цыганы", "Полтава", "Медный всадник". "Домик в Коломне", "Кавказский пленник", "Песнь о вещем Олеге". Александр Сергеевич Пушкин еще при жизни снискал себе репутацию самого великого поэта России, чье творчество повлияло на развитие как русской, так и всемирной литературы.
