Great addition to learning French
This is a great method for tuning the ear in easy steps. I have been using this in addition to the Great Courses French course on Amazon which also assists with visualising the language across different countries.

Great way to expand your French vocabulary
I’m using this audiobook to expand my french vocabulary, and I have learned a whole array of words and sentences while listening to it. I like that it is focusing on the most frequent words, and the sample sentences are great, they feel like sentences that are used in daily conversations. The sentences are presented in French first and then in English. I get those people who would like to have it the other way around, the English sentences first, then the French, but I think it works great this way, especially if you already have studied some basic French.

Great idea but would be so much better and easier to learn if the English phrase was said before the French phrase (and not the other way round)

Really good
Basically I found this really good. I set a goal of 50 words a day and I followed along on the accompanying PDF stopping the audio to read an practice for a lot of the sentences. I feel it has been a great success and my french has improved.
Its a simple idea and it is good.

It’s very useful
So you can just listen while you’re having a walk, or whatever, but it’s even more re-inforcing when you print out the PDF and read while you listen too. Fantastic resource.

Incredibly useful
In language, the most common words make up the basics of the language. Learning the 2000 most common words, alongside some grammar work, will give you an excellent grounding in French. I highly recommend this audiobook to french learners looking for a unique study tool.

Unusual contexts
I moved to France recently so I’ve used various resources to learn French. I was ready for something new to practice listening mostly so I thought this would be good. Unfortunately, I find the contexts completely bizarre and not at all helpful for everyday speech. Also the sentences are often incredibly longwinded so hard to get your head around for a beginner.
