First the story - this is a bodyguard, close proximity type plot line. It's rather cliched but follows the trope expectations and provides a solid story if you like actress/bodyguard romances.
However, the audio narration was really off putting. The female narrator's voice is nasally and whiney and couldn't pull of acting other characters (especially all the male ones). In turn, the story lost any chance of portraying chemistry between the two MCs so lost the essence of the romance. And at times I had to adjust the reading speed because the story was spoken too slow.
Now that's probably me being too fussy but I do feel this audio would have benefited greatly from a minimum of two narrators with one being the male MC and able to cover all the other male voices.
