Summary
Graduate student Lizzie Petrie feels more comfortable around books than people. Although an expert in the Hitler Youth, she’s a novice in love. Her former lesbian lover is blackmailing her, and not even those closest to Lizzie know the full story of their abusive relationship.
When visiting high school, English teacher Sarah crosses Lizzie’s path at the campus. Their attraction is instant but not without complications. As they start to spend more time together, suspicions arise from both women in this sexy piece of LGBT fiction.
Plenty of good-natured teasing takes place between lovers as well as between PhD students in this lesbian contemporary romance. No relationship path ever runs smoothly, and oftentimes, those who can’t keep their mouth shut hasten necessary confrontation.
Lizzie finds herself buried in a mess of lies in this romantic comedy. The harder she tries to keep Sarah and the rest of her friends from finding out the truth about her first girlfriend, the more endearingly clueless she becomes.

Fantastic book
This is the first book I have had from T.B. Markinson, and I have to say I really enjoyed it; it was well written and narrated.
It has a nice story and some funny moments with Lizzie being clueless about things.
The book has a good ending, and now can't wait to read Book 1: A woman lost.
The only thing I would have liked though is the audio to have been linked/ synced to the kindle book as I like to follow along with the book, but maybe this will happen in the future.

Really enjoyable listen
I really enjoyed the chemistry between the two main characters. It was a bit dark in places due to Lizzie’s past. I liked her having no idea about certain situations.
I hope the other books I find out more about Lizzie and Sarah which demonstrates how good the listen was.

Another hit!
I have read all the books in the series and approached the audio with some trepidation, but I found it easy to listen to and enjoyed the story yet again. Stephanie Murphy does a good job in adding to the Markinson storyline and thus it earns its 5* rating all round.

another must read in the series
I love the series, having read all the books I am just waiting for the next audio to be released. Stephanie Murphy does a great job once again, I can't imagine another voice for these fantastic characters

I love Lizzie
Truly clueless but also to clever for her own good! This is a great story with great characters! Stephanie Murphy is a lovely Narrator with a smooth and rich voice. I loved it! I‘m listening to the hole series! It‘s awesome!
