A superb insight into a very complex issue

This book is a very important book into the topic of British serial killers. The author points out, with over 130 years of serial killers, there's vulnerable sets of people in our communities that are more likely to become targets of serial murderers. This book brings our attention to the victims of these truly terrible crimes and helps to point out that we should all shine a btighter light into vulnerable groups to make it more difficult for these predators to be able to repeat their actions.

Compelling listening

An interesting, non-glorifying insight into what creates a serial killer, and their victims.
Very well read by the author.

Interesting

I really enjoyed this,
I think David Wilson narrates this very well, & kept me interested for the full term of the book, certainly a different view of serial killing

A refreshing new angle

I really, really enjoyed this book. It provides a refreshing new perspective on understand why the certain identified group of victims are targeted, so that we may approach stopping serial killers from this angle. It was really eye-opening to think about it this way, and I thought Wilson wrote and spoke about these issues sensitively and informatively.

Listen and Learn

A good analysis of the groups of people targeted by serial killers. It looks at the sociology behind it.

Tedious, at least for me

Full of statistics which can be interesting for those that enjoy them but I found my mind wandering to other things because of them and I one instance fell asleep.

Professor David Wilson at his very best

Insightful analysis of why serial killers become serial killers and the environmental factors that can contribute to the phenomenon. I learnt a lot that I didn't know and it was interesting to be seeing things from a victim's perspective. Very much enjoyed and would recommend.
