A wonderful and interesting story…

I couldn’t stop listening. It wasn’t just one character, it was about the destiny of at least 6 people who had to go through a lot…
And the narration was really well done too!

Great characters, lovely setting. I like the narrator very much.

A good series to listen too would thoroughly recommend to people who have not purchased the author’s books before.

Lovely book to escape to a Cornish town and village life...

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I really love the way Laura Kirman narrates the stories she reads, and she has an easy to listen to voice, unlike some narrators. The book flows well and gives realistic glimpses into small town/ village life (living in a small fishing town in Devon, I can totally understand!) whilst creating an easy to listen to escape. Will be starting the next one ASAP! 😀

A slow start but keep going

I struggled to begin with, the storyline didn’t grab me at first but I rarely give in. So glad I didn’t. Little by little I got involved and felt I wanted to be part of it all. Lovely story about how easily a family can be broken apart but with time, love and willingness to listen things can begin to look up.

Wonderful escape

Another wonderful story from Phillipa Ashley, the third in this series. The beautiful setting of Porthmellow is the backdrop to romance and love. The story includes the well loved characters from the previous books, I love that Troy calls ladies ‘maid’. I really enjoyed a few hours of escape to Cornwall. Looking forward to the next instalment.
