A true moral
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
Cornelius Garrett is not a natural narrator and loses connection with a listener with a bull in a china shop approach to his narration task.
The story has two-dimensional characters overlaid with infinite de Maupassant overburdened descriptions, particularly of physical characteristics. it is a moral tale of personal reputation and ironically avoiding stereotypes.
Just the sort of piece students are given to study
