Popular science with humor
The author has a really good sense of humor and made scientific concepts very relatable. The narrator gave an impeccable performance. Physics concepts were brought to life explaining how particles act strangely in classic experiments. I found the Astronomy section to not be my favorite but I was taken aback by the descriptions of the planets and their moons. One of my favorite moments was tying theories of the multiverse, gravity, and expansion together, but you will have to listen to learn more.

Funny and informative!
"A Seriously Humorous Voyage Through the Universe" is a great listen that teaches complex scientific concepts by using humor and plain language to make the concepts easy to digest. It seamlessly moves between humor and science, talking about topics like black holes, time travel, and quantum mechanics.
The author does a great job of breaking down intricate concepts and making them not only easy to listen to and understand, but makes the reader have fun while doing it. Great for any audience who is looking to learn more about science but not through a textbook-like approach.
Overall, definitely would recommend this to science enthusiasts or anyone curious about the universe!

What a Trip!
This engaging book takes you all over the universe and back, uncovering information about stars, planets, black holes, Einstein, and so much more! The narrator is a mixture of Neil deGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye, the Science guy, with a touch of Blippi's enthusiasm, which is perfect for getting kids excited to learn the plethora of scientific facts in this book.

It's like a written Mystery Science Theater!
Washington's book "A Seriously Humorous Voyage Through The Universe" is so well written it's al, most hard to figure out who the demographic was that author was shooting for. The author and narrator, in tandem, both have used the story and the telling of the story (narration) to their advantage to keep a listener glued to the audio to be whisked through space and time and be educated on science all at the same time. When listening, it brought me back to when Mystery Science Theater had a huge following in the US, and this narrated book has some elements of comedy to it that make this a fun and engaging audiobook!
