About this listen
Toxic air. Vicious Beasts. Poisonous ash falling from the sky. That’s what awaits anyone brave enough to traverse the electrified fence of the compound I grew up on. My only chance at freedom is the arrogant - and oh so handsome - Prince Damien.
Every girl wants to marry him - except for me. But, when our weekly ration of healing elixir isn’t enough to save my mother, giving myself to Damien is my only hope. As heir to the Elite throne, the vampire prince’s assistance is vital to my mother’s health. Marriage is but one price I have to pay.
Giving Damien my body and blood? That’s another... but I have no other choice.
At least, that’s what I believe, until I uncover a secret about my identity that has me questioning everything. My training to become the perfect blood companion leads me down a dangerous path. It appears not everyone within the citadel is pleased with how our elite masters...and me? I’m the key to demolishing the whole system. When my immortal husband discovers who I really am, not even his vampire magic can protect me. But if I can unlock my new abilities, I might be strong enough to save us both - as long as his father doesn't kill me first.

definitely Hunger games
if you have read hunger games, you have pretty much read this book. So far it feels like a reskin of Hunger Games. It is a well written book and the narrator is good, but so far it's quasi-identical story line except with vampires.
So if you enjoyed Hunger Games and want to reimagine it with vampires, this is the book for you.
