Summary

The Forbidden Fruit.

Come on. Bite it. You know you want to.

The snake says it’s okay.

Eve says it’s okay.

You’re curious, aren’t you, Adam?

Bite it.

You bit it, didn’t you?

It’s all right; we all make mistakes. Paradise wasn’t all it was cracked up to be, anyway. From now on, you’ll have to make your own way. Just you and Eve and your trusty talking goat sidekick, Phil Collins.

The book of Genesis. How bad could it be? Take a bite and find out for yourself.

.A real joy from start to finish

Lets start with David S. Dear ,his voice is so wonderfully engaging that I found myself smiling just listening to the story that we have heard 100 times before but never from Adam's POV and never this utterly hilarious.I listened to the book in the car and nearly choked on many occasions as I tried to stifle the compulsion to laugh out loud trying to avoid the other depressed Dublin commuters thinking that I had lost it.
This book should be compulsory listening for everyone tired of hearing about economic doom and gloom in the media. It is funny and inspirational. Highly recommended.Marc Richard knows how to write a comedy and a brave guy for doing it on this topic.Great entertainment.I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.I received this title for free in exchange for an unbiased review. As always this is my honest opinion .

Adam's point of view

Which scene did you most enjoy?

Adam realising he had a rib missing and that someone new was in bed with him.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Adam making up names for things was very funny.

Any additional comments?

A funny account of life in Eden from Adam's point of view. He's all alone until Eve comes along to keep him company.

Dichotomy

Any additional comments?

I was given this review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This is a difficult book to rate. I found bits and pieces funny but it was just this dichotomy of modern technology and ideas in the Garden of Eden and other Bible stories. i really struggled to get my head around it.
