Aiden and Honey!

Aiden finds himself split between two worlds as even though he is human most of the people he is closest to are paranormals and if that isn’t complicated enough seeing everyone around him find their fated mates has left him feeling alone. All he wanted was a little time to himself until an accident not only brings Honey into his life but changes who he is to the core.

Honey is a vampire who is trying to rescue Fancy, her fox, who finds Aiden near death. The only way to save him is to make him a vampire and as she helps him adapt to his new reality they realize that fate had a much bigger plan when it brought them together. The only thing standing in their way is not everyone is happy they are together and aren’t above trying to tear them apart.

Even though Aiden and Honey had a few challenges along the way there is no denying that they are meant to be together. It was great to not only see the relationship between them unfold but to catch up with the other characters we know and love. I enjoyed he pacing and cadence of the narration as they had you invested in the story and the characters. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

Really enjoyed Aiden's story

Even though I don't remember Aiden much from the other books in this series I settled in very easily with him and his story. It was great to find out more about him and the new characters brought in. I love that my favourite is in here too, just hearing his character gives me shivers :0) I do love the way the characters are so easy to distinguish by their voices. Sarah L Colton and Troy Duran do such a good job, I know I'm in good hands with them.

The series is still going strong

I really enjoyed Aiden's Awakening. I just love the Paranormals of Avynwood world and how the paranormals exist together. The dynamic feels unique and refreshing.

Aiden, despite being human, already knows that Paranormal beings exist and has an understanding of that world. His friendships with several of the paranormal world runs deep and he has been offered to turn into a Vampire. An offer that he is considering when a fox runs out in front of his car.

At that point everything changes and so does Aiden.

Honey was born a Vampire. She lives a quiet life with her devoted parents. It is all that she has ever known. She is only 18 years old and definitely not ready to consider finding her mate. When her pet fox escapes, runs into the road and causes Aiden to crash, Honey has to make a hard decision. Turn the stranger into a Vampire, or let him die.

As Aiden awakes into his new reality he has to get used to the world around him anew. Among these huge changes are him feelings towards the woman who turned him.

This was an enjoyable listen with a well paced plot that held my focus from start to finish.
The narration was great, with recognisable characters and excellent storytelling.

Good as always

These series are one of my favourites, and I am always looking forward to the next one, lucky this books didn't disappoint. It is good, with no much drama and good characters.

Both Aiden and Honey were a cute couple, and I really enjoyed their story. I love that we get to see more of the other paranormals, and of course Solomon, because he's special 🤣.

Sarah L Colton and Troy Duran were amazing as always, their performances is another reason I love this audiobooks.

Fun and original story

While this is standalone, it is the final book in a series and I feel like people would take away much more if they read/listened to the rest of the series. I did not and followed along quite well but I feel like I'm missing out on understanding all the other characters that were introduced in this book (the last third and the epilogue, especially, "introduced" a lot of characters that I wish I knew because these characters all seem so much fun.

Aiden was about to lose his life and Honey, a vampire has an opportunity to save him. She takes it and then she and her family have to introduce him to being a vampire. Luckily, he already knew about the paranormal community, being close friends with what seem like some of the strongest paranormals in the world (again, this is where a background knowledge would have helped!)

Overall, I loved the world- I thought it was fascinating, with some similar lore and some more original takes on the vampire and paranormal world. I'll have to read the earlier books in this series and then relisten to this book because it's so interesting. it's a young adult novel so it was relatively clean.

The narrators, Troy Duran and Sarah Colton were fantastic. I love Troy's raspy voice and while he could have sounded a little bit older for basically a kid, it didn't detract from his excellent narration. Sarah's voice was perfect for Honey and both narrators brought the book to life.

Sad It's Over

I’m really sad that this series is now over. This has become one of my favorite series of all time. All of the characters are just so loveable. It’s very easy to get attached to all of them. I wished I was a part of this world with all my being. Even if I was only in the world as a human. Then again, if I was human, I wouldn’t know about these lovely people. Solomon was my favorite character of everybody in the entire series. He just loved to give everybody a hard time. There was nothing that could be said that would unnerve him. I am going to have to go back and reread this series again very soon!

Paranormal Romance

Aiden's Awakening by Michelle Dare is a paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Troy Duran and Sarah L. Colton.

This is the tenth and final book in the Paranormals of Avynwood Series. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone. However, they do reference characters from other books so I would recommend reading in order.

I absolutely love Michelle’s books! They always leave me with a smile. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Aiden and Honey. I really enjoyed that we got both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Troy and Sarah did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would highly recommend this series if you love Paranormal Romances.
