Brilliant and powerful

I thoroughly loved this second novel from Trent Dalton. To be taken on such an epic journey with characters that were so beautifully and poetically described was pure delight. I cried tears of happiness with them.

Wonderful narration

This is a very well written story which is harrowing at times. What kept me listening was the amazing performance of Ruby Rees especially her portrayal of Molly the young protagonist.

I stuck it as long as I could...

Arrrgggh so BORING. And the narrator is so IRRITATING. I tried, because Boy Swallows Universe on Audible is amazing. But, my god, I nearly smashed my phone with this one. I gave up about 3 hours from the end, when I was clear it was never going to improve. What a waste of my time. And did I mention how bloody irritating the narrator is ? !! I hated it.
