About this listen

"He is FAKE NEWS, a total LOSER, and no one should waste their time or money in buying this boring and obviously fictitious book!" Donald Trump, President of the United States

"Gripping-a veritable harvest of slime, sycophancy and sleaze that tells the story of Trump 2.0, an aggrieved pugilist waging a 'life or death' campaign." New York Times

"Michael Wolff... the shrewdest and most colourful chronicler of the Trump years," Sunday Times

All or Nothing is the final chapter in Wolff's Fire and Fury series. With extraordinary behind-the-scenes access, it follows every turn of Donald Trump's third presidential campaign.

In disgrace after the January 6 attack on the Capitol and sent into exile, Trump immediately sputters back to life. To the shock of the Republican Party leadership, the Trump base has not abandoned him. Hardly a year on, he is as strong as any challenger has ever been. The American establishment is stunned by his comeback and determined to stop it and hold him accountable for his abuses of law and power. Equally, he has vowed retribution on anyone who tries to stand in his way. The 2024 presidential race is elemental: the system breaks Donald Trump or Donald Trump breaks the system.

Michael Wolff tells this story from inside the Trump campaign. Through the sources he has cultivated over his ten years of writing about Donald Trump, including people who are with Trump on a daily basis, as well as his own first-hand reporting, we get a nearly moment-by-moment picture of the pendulum mood swings, the casual cruelties, the demands for obeisance, the preternatural resolve or otherworldly levels of denial, and the certain flashes of showman genius of the new president.

An astonishing description of the brutality of power and the planetary sized ego of an over indulged narcsssist.

Monster ahoy!

Makes more sense to the chaos we are witnessing now ! Very insightful and detailed to the dysfunctional workings of the Trump Team !!

Insight!

The book is an incredible insight into the mind and character of Trump. Assuming it is truthful or at least mostly truthful. It’s detailed and absorbing. It’s a damning indictment of American politics. What the book reveals about Trump and those surrounding him will surprise no-one. Having just witnessed the sycophancy of the Middle East towards him - or maybe it was just manipulation - the characterisation of Trump makes sense.

Fascinating story of Trump’s return to power.

It’s impossible not to spot that Donald Trump is a polarising figure. What is more fascinating is trying to grasp the reasons why. This book, beautifully written and, seemingly, forensically researched offers a good deal of juice to hydrate the man’s fans and critics alike. I loved it. Can’t wait for the sequel.

A staggering story

Dear Author, please, for Heaven’s sake, never again read your own book. There is a reason for professionals to be employed to do it. Primarily, that they know how not to sound like a teenager reading his/hers homework at school.
I couldn’t concentrate on the content due to mediocre delivery. Wrong intonations, no capacity to finish sentences on a right pitch, all together like someone put their head in their hands and just read out loud what was before them.
As a result you can’t easily follow the thought process of the author. Why would you dump original narrator and employ the author?! What is with that fad?!

Not as good as previous

I found this written account very interesting.
However, the narration is very poor. There’s no expression involved at all. It’s just a load of words being read out.

Interesting account but poor narration

I listened to Michael Wolff’s previous trilogy on Trump’s first presidency and was surprised by how compelling they were. I’m no Trump fan, but what makes these books fascinating is how much of him is laid bare—his flaws, his unpredictability, and, strangely, his oddball charm. He’s a man who wears his psychological baggage openly, sometimes coming across as pathetic and frail, yet also bizarrely funny and endearing simply because of how broken he is.

All or Nothing is just as gripping as the earlier books. No other politician seems to generate this much sheer narrative chaos—enough to justify multiple books. One of the funniest moments is Trump realizing, mid-flight during a terrifying trip, that he’s on Epstein’s plane, shouting, “Oh my God, I’m gonna die on Epstein’s plane!”—hilarious and surreal in equal measure.

Whether you like Trump or not, this is a fascinating read. If you’re a fan, you might find it challenging, but I’d still recommend it for the insight. If you’re not, you’ll likely enjoy the sheer weirdness of it all. Big recommendation from me. And if this does turn into another trilogy, I’ll be picking up the next books on day one.

Excellent insight into the unbelievable world of trump, what an absolute nut case. Play at a speed of 1.2X though as the narrator reads very slowly.

Excellent content but play it on 1.2X

Michael Wolff does his best to deliver a compelling narrative, but the book concludes with the election of the new president. Given how many significant events have unfolded since the inauguration, the book’s impact now feels somewhat diminished. Still, it was an enjoyable listen that offered intriguing behind-the-scenes insights into the political drama of that period.

Trump’s Never-Ending Drama Makes This Feel Outdated

Wolff hates Trump more than most, so don't expect anything unbiased. however, his disdain is so eloquently composed, that it's still a good read!

very entertaining
