Indossata finalmente la tonaca però, il ragazzo si è macchiato di un crimine orrendo: ha abusato di alcuni bambini che erano sotto la sua tutela, tanto che è dovuto fuggire per evitare di essere linciato. Giovanni però tornerà e suo padre dovrà fare i conti con lui e con i suoi crimini in un climax di forte intensità emotiva.
