I am so invested in these characters,their mates and the magical world Violet Taylor has created.
This story is the Alpha of the ulric pack Gideon and his unexpected mate Dahlia's story.
We know from book one that Gideon is looking for a mate but he doesn't seem to be able to make a connection with anyone...That is until his sister Aria brings a stranger to her Birthday party and Gideon cannot take his eyes off her.
Dahlia is living a normal life,she is a dancer at a club has a best friend but Dahlia has a secret she has magic within her....Magic she must keep secret because people want her for that magic,so much so she was kidnapped once before because of it.
Then Fate steps in after being ditched by her friend at a club,and she meets Aria.This meeting will change her life forever,especially when she sees Aria's brother Gideon.
They are drawn to eachother and can barely hide their lust and want for one another,so boldly Dahlia asks Gideon to leave with her and he agrees.
But something unexpected happens Dahlia is kidnapped and because Gideon is with her he is taken too.
But the kidnappers are NO match for Gideon and they manage to get away were she is taken to Gideons home.
They are practically ravenous for eachother and Gideon will help her discover what she is..The collectors want her and Dahlia is in danger.
The only place she will be safe is with Gideon and to recieve the protection from the pack.
This is compulsive listening and there is so much to keep track of with the collectors and the arranged marriage that Gideon doesn't want....He has already found his soul mate within Dahlia.
Once again we are treated by the talents of Ryan West and Stella Hunter narrating this book they are Magnificent ! I am just mesmerised by their story telling and love their voices.
I am enjoying Violet Taylors writing and her Amazing ability to pull you into her story and never letting you go until the end,I am definately transfixed and LOVED Gideon and Dahlia's passionate romance.
I cannot wait for book 3 and Lark's story squeee.
A Superb Audiobook that I am certain Fantasy Romance lover will relish.
