Couldn’t put it down! Heart wrenching, confusion then clarity for the reader as well as the protagonist. Fiona has the ability to make us love (and really dislike!) her characters in every book. I can’t wait for her next book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I wasn’t sure what to expect, as this was my first Fiona Lucas title. After this, I am an instant fan, and can’t wait to read another!
I feel like “chick lit” books often fall victim to overused tropes and mediocre writing, but I was immediately struck by how well this writer can pull her readers into each scene with her visuals. The characters are so finely drawn, and the story so well-crafted, I really found myself experiencing all the same push and pull that the main character does. I fell headfirst into this story, and couldn’t stop listening until it was done! Highly recommend!
