Summary
Wisecracking reporter Dixie Flynn thinks fast and talks even faster - it's the only way to survive the San Francisco crime beat. Though ruled a suicide, Dixie has her doubts, and as she gets closer to the truth, the more life-threatening it becomes for her. Amy Rubinate's performance is impressively multifaceted; she gives Dixie a streetwise sturdiness while making the police gruff and ineffectual, and turns the San Francisco art world into a seamy cesspool of dangerous lowlifes. Rubinate provides depth to the already colorful world in Angel with a Bullet.
