Amazing book. So informative and honest without being bias.This truly lifts the lid on the lies that we have been taught about Anne for too long. Hayley has done such a great job with this book- her writing is excellent without overloading you with complicated words and her research is mind blowing,she clearly put so much effort into writing this and I thank her for that.If you love Anne Boleyn I cannot recommend reading this enough!!

Not the normal regurgitated lies about Anne Boleyn. For so many centuries the true Anne has been lost in the Tudor propaganda. Henry as we all now know was not a very nice man, but he was manipulated by other not so nice people. She didn’t stand a chance.

The story was great but the narrator felt flippant and dismissive. Her reading seemed to cheapen the message she was trying to share particularly with the use of the phrasing ‘hashtag’. The narration was over the top and dramatic bordering on cheesy at times (particularly at the beginning).

I am a huge tudor history fan and was intrested to hear about this new take on history. I have come out the other side and all i can say is... interesting...there are a lot of radical ideas in this book. Some ideas make sense other idea's of Hayley's less so, if you look at history in it's plainest form they don't add up.
I'm pleased i listened but not one i fell i would listen to again.
Hayley however was a great narrator.

It’s really emotional and gut wrenching to now know how Anne Boleyn has been misrepresented over the course of the centuries. The performance is brilliant by virtue of the fact that it is delivered by the expert, with all the emotional weight that depth of knowledge brings.

as an avid Anne Boleyn fan, I found this book fascinating as I've been wanted to know the truth about Anne for years. I've found a few bits of information along the way but not nearly as much as I have read here!! Hayley reads this book with absolute passion and I love her enthusiasm. Thank you for allowing our Anne to shine bright again!

I listened to about half an hour of the narration of this book and gave it up for a bad job, as Hayley Nolan's voice took away any interest in what she was saying, which is a pity, really, as the book is probably quite interesting. There are many books on the life of Anne Boleyn, I suggest shopping around, and listening to the samples before buying - the author is not always the best narrator.
