Summary

On paper, Sadie's got it all—the partner, the children, the house. But in real life, that doesn't feel quite enough. Sadie can't help harking back to the time when she was a career woman by day and a party animal by night. And what happened to feeling like a sex kitten, anyway? The only sleepless nights she's getting now are due to the baby. Maybe a little reinvention is the answer....

Sadie can't resist creating a fictitious online identity for herself as a hot TV producer. It's only a bit of harmless fun...until truth and fantasy become dangerously tangled. It isn't long before she's wondering if the exciting alter ego she has dreamed up really is the kind of person she wants to be after all.

Terrible

If you haven’t had children don’t go near this book as it drones on and on about children and motherhood

Returned it

I tried, I really did! I love Lucy Diamond books but this one was a stinker. The children’s voices went through me, her life sounded utterly depressing and made motherhood sound horrific. I have children, but if I’d listened to this before I’d had them I’d have thought twice! I was borderline offended that having kids was portrayed in such a negative way. I gave this just over 90 mins of listening over 3-4 sessions but had to give up, each season left me irritated and wanting to stop. So I did. Sorry Lucy!

An easy listen, not bad.

this book started a little slow but I carried on as I love Lucy's books.
The story line was a bit unbelievable and controversial but yet it happens right?
Narration was good as always and I loved little Mollyand such a shame but I do think that it ended so very ubruptly. was disappointing!
Overall it was a nice easy chick lit novel and worth a listen whilst you're doing your housework!🤣

Not the best

It wasn’t to the usual Lucy Diamond standard a very one dimensional story, very disappointing
