Summary
Sidney has a rough life. Her mom is incredibly abusive both mentally and physically. One day, she's awarded the escape she's always wanted and thrust into a world she barely understands. Each day is a struggle to feel human and not terrified of everything around her.
Sidney has rules. Routines. Structure. It's the only way she can cope.
When a handsome yet mysterious stranger inserts himself into her life, Sidney begins to come apart at the seams. She's having trouble sticking to her habits and it's threatening to shred any hope of a normal life to pieces.
Will this stranger help her in ways no other person can, or will things get worse for her?
He comes with his own set of problems and secrets he's unwilling to share. Will they work together through the mess of their pasts or will they get caught up enabling each other? Will their toxic relationship ultimately be destined for demise?

A Twist of Fate
This book was not was not what I was expecting. I went into this book blind, Just knowing that it was written by K Webster was enough for me as I have enjoyed everything I have read from her previously. Apartment 2b was something different and a romance story that brings the characters together via a clear twist of fate. Sidney is a very broken heroine and a little hard to love. When Liam comes along he is arrogant but their chemistry is clear, Add Lane to the mix and things take an unexpected turn. Narration wise, despite the multiple lead characters, I found it to be well paced and easy to follow, not my favourite but one I could listen to again and for a single narrator Meghan did a great job.

Very intriguing
This one kept me on edge just like I’ve come to expect from a k Webster novel. The characters were well developed but had the flaws that I love in her books and the storyline was compelling and well thought out.

not my favorite audio by K webster but still good!
I love K Webster.
I love ALL of K Websters books.
I listened to this audiobook and this might be one of the only ones I didnt obsess over. I liked it alot. I mean, the Queen wrote it. I love everything this author does for us readers. But I didnt like Sidney at all. She was so whiny. Maybe it was the narrator since I listened to the audio. I wasnt expecting that shocker with Liam though! And Lane. Onto the next K Webster book! I love this author!!!!!!! I just didnt lOvEeE this one.

Not what i expected but better!
I listened to the audiobook of this and went in blind ( did not read the blurb ) HOLY BALLS I was not expecting that! now first of all the chick who was reading it got on my t*ts her creepy old man voice is like something out of Hansel and Gretal but you know easily overlooked for the great story it is. not my usual type of book and I totally pictured something else happening but I was WRONG! which doesn't happen a lot lol, read the book you never know it might surprise you too!

Original Story Line
I was pleased with this story. The plot was original, but I felt like there was more that could have been inserted to bring this up to five stars.
The narrator is good and did an amazing job, but in some parts she mispronounced a word. It distracted a bit until I figured out what was meant. I do feel like a male character would have been a better choice for the male POV though.

not so good 😕
this is the first audio book by these authors.
I was expecting much more from it .
the story had such potential and drew me in from reading the synopsis, the back story of Sydney was intriguing and I wanted more.
meeting the tall dark hansom Liam in the apartment and him being her "Knight in shining armour " was all well and good and I enjoyed there beginning but the amount of sex/ foreplay was cringy i don't know if it was the way the book was written or was the narrators interpretation of the male/female characters, the male always sounded creepy and predatory and Sydney was always weak and forlorn.
I dont know if me not enjoying this was the words or how the narrator read the book but it was a big let down considering who wrote the book.
