Continuous prompts to go her website to download files which could have been a pdf download along with the audio book

Reasonably good advise in one place. I particularly thought her advice on finances were level-headed and considered. What I really found annoying was the continuous prompts to go to her website. This changes her overall message from trying to be informative to being overwhelmingly self promoting.

Amazing book! Highly Recommend

’Sema Martin now has an audio book version of her ‘Art is my Career: How to start an art business’ narrated by Nikki Delgado and I have had the pleasure of listening to it whilst working on a Christmas portrait over the past week. Nikki Delgado does an amazing job as the narrator and I felt very motivated whilst listening to this book. When I first read Sema’s book last year, I was so pleased I did as she had shared SO much useful information! Now, I love that I can listen to it whilst drawing a portrait or pottering around the house! I really enjoy having the option of listening to the book as I don’t always feel like sitting reading so to have someone to read it for me is amazing! And means I have more time to be creative and enjoy the book at the same time! I often find myself jotting things down when I hear something that sparks an idea! It’s a great wait to generate new ideas as the narrator talks through Semas’ advice. The book is beautifully read and Audible saves where your up to when you’ve finished listening so when you next come to listen it picks up where you left off! I would highly recommend signing up to Audible and purchasing the Audio book! 😃 Sema is doing a wonderful job helping us artists work towards our dreams, cannot thank her enough!!

Sorry to say I couldn’t get much past the first chapter due to the uncomfortable narration. I’m sure this book has useful content but not for me as an audio book.

Every creative person should listen to this!

The book which covers pretty much everything about starting and maintaining a creative business successfully! I bought the hardback version too earlier this year so was thrilled that Sema decided to do an audio version too- very useful to listen to whilst working!

Great content, shame about the delivery

There is some really useful information shared by the author in this audible but unfortunately I found myself drifting in and out of consciousness due to the robotic voice of the narrator. 🤖 Will need to listen again or get a paper copy to fully soak in the details.

if you have started your career at all this is not for you. I didn't get anything I didn't already know from this book
