About this listen

When is a rescue not a rescue? When it’s a kidnapping.

Flicka and Dieter, whose real name is Raphael Mirabaud, tried to escape her ex-husband’s Secret Service and army, but they couldn’t. Dozens of military personnel, maybe hundreds, surrounded them, trying to kidnap Flicka. The only way out was with mercenaries hired by Raphael’s father.

But Raphael’s father has other plans for them, plans that would force Raphael to go back to a destiny he tried to leave behind, and his father will hold Flicka and Alina hostage and threaten their lives to make him do it.

The story gets darker at midnight.

Drama and suspense from start to finish... Wow!

At Midnight is the 4th of a 5-book series and I'd definitely say you need to listen in order,, as the story continues across the series.

The characters are all really well rounded and developed, and After Midnight let's us see the other side one of the lead characters to that we have seen before. Who is in control? Will the lead characters get through the final plot twists and turns alive? Will the daughter get her HEA? All questions we hope we will get answers to, and the fact that 4 books in, we still don't know indicates how well thought out the plot has been. So many emotions, questions and twists and turns in one book!!

The best of the series so far in my view, and the narrators do an amazing job capturing and becoming the characters..... Can't wait for the final book of the series.

BRILLIANT!!

Wow!! Still reeling from the ending. Compared to the other books in the series, At Midnight, the fourth instalment in Flicka's story is more intense, a genuine nail-biter. Blair Babylon sure knows how to tie her readers in knots, and I love her for it. Seriously can't wait to find out what's next and how Flicka and Dieter get out of the predicament they're in. This series has turned out to be one of my favourites, and as much as I'm anticipating the next book, I don't want the series to end. The storylines are incredibly engaging, suspenseful, passionate, steamy, with enough intensity and plot twists to keep you on the very edge of your seat. The cast is phenomenal and very well-developed; Flicka, intelligent, calm, practical, and steady in the face of danger. Dieter is the ultimate hero, protective, loyal, capable, effective, and efficient; he's literally impossible not to adore. Together, they're perfect, magnetic, captivating with the strength and intelligence to face off unimaginable scenarios. The narration is flawless. Jason Clarke and Lucy Rivers make you feel as though you are right there in the story existing in every moment with the characters. I absolutely love listening to them. All in all, At Midnight is steamy, suspenseful, romantic, with captivating characters and stellar narration, one I'm highly recommending.

At midnight the magic happens

Book 4 I. The series. Wow what a story Blair Babylon wrote.
Dieter real persona is revealed as Raphael. Dieter and Flicka are still on the run . Lucky for them and Us they know how to cover their tracks
Blair wrote another story to the series that will have you at the end of your seat. Another one with twists and turns, mystery and seeing a bit a little bit of light hopefully The world-building was is very well done and the descriptions given make it easy to visualise everything. Well written and leaves you wanting more! Narration was very well done, the story line flows smoothly

Lucy Rivers and Jason Clarke permanence is fantastic. They brought the story to life . They both brought me into the story

I Lived & Breathed All of The Tension!😳

At Midnight
Billionaires in Disguise: Flicka (Runaway Princess #4)
Audiobook 🎧
By: Blair Babylon
Narrated by: Jason Clarke, Lucy Rivers
Length: 6 hrs and 50 mins

Wow, the blinders are taken off completely regarding Dieter's previous life!😲 Raphael is so unlike who his 'older self' becomes, but at least he knew he had a hard line he just couldn't cross!🙏 Flicka quickly realises that Alina & herself are pawns. As far as Raphael's Dad is concerned, they're just there to control his son. She's under constant & close guard without access to the outside world.😕

The family owned bank his Father is COO of, has been corrupted for decades. Most of the younger generation want it cleaned up as do some of the elders. Is it too rotten to save now though?😢 His past truly comes back to haunt him, as does his faith against being betrayed .... again!!💔 Can any of them make it out alive?💥

This was narrated so well. The multitude of emotions were so well portrayed by the actors. This ended on a massive & true cliffhanger!🙈 I'm really looking forward to listening to them bringing the finale to life.😍🌟
