About this listen

Audie Murphy was a movie star, writer, and one of the most decorated soldiers who ever lived. He was barely 18 years old when he was shipped off to fight Fascists in Italy during World War II. As he himself would later liken it, he went “to hell and back” and lived to tell the tale.

In this book, we will dive deeper to bring you the man behind the medals. Here is a telling of the life and legend of Audie Murphy in full.

War Hero and legend

I enjoyed this book very much and learned so many things about Audi Murphy as I had only known about his acting career so it was interesting to learn about his wartime experience and the many different medals he earned for such a small guy he had a positive impact on his troops which made him a formidable fighter. I was happy learn that he was responsible for bring about a veterans hospital and to help the many veterans who struggle with PTSD. Respect to you Audi Murphy Rest for Ever Easy Soldier.
