About this listen
From the critically acclaimed author of Think Like a Rocket Scientist comes a simple process for discarding obsolete beliefs and cultivating independent thought.
A rare handful of leaders, artists, scientists, and entrepreneurs seem to have Teflon in their heads. They think and act with genuine independence, offering up ideas and insights direct from the subtle workings of their own minds. No matter how far that might take them from their social or political group.
We sometimes call these people geniuses, as if they're another breed. But genius doesn't have to belong to just a few people—it can be cultivated.
Great thinkers operate unconstrained by the opinions of others—or their own past opinions. They can act on new information regardless of the beliefs they once held, or identities they once adopted. They distinguish fact from manipulation. And just as importantly, they act first instead of reacting—creating new ideas and opportunities for themselves and others.
This is an audiobook for aspiring universe-denters: executives and entrepreneurs, activists and artists, individuals who want to escape groupthink, discard obsolete and harmful beliefs, generate breakthrough ideas, spot hidden opportunities, and flourish in a world of ever-increasing manipulation, change, and challenge. In short, it's an audiobook for geniuses.

Definitely awakened my genius
Amazing book with so many beautiful stories to remind me that I am here not just to change the skin. I am a caterpillar who got the signal.

Follow your curiosity.
- Following your passion can be hard. Follow your curiosity instead.
- Enough is something YOU define.
- The oldest story in the world is that of two sides not agreeing.
- Disagreement is a constant.
- A genius is someone most like himself.
- Even a good thing is not good for everyone, in any context.
- There's only one way of stopping criticism: avoid meaningful work.
- How we spend our days is how we spend our lives.
- Let some small bad things happen.
- If you play meaningless games, you win meaningless prizes.
- You are only as young as the last time you changed your mind.
- Don't compare the real you with the perfect image of someone else.
- Adding is easy and subtracting is hard.

The best call to action I have seen in a while!
A wonderful thing happens when the author reads their own book, they transmit the emotions intended, and tell the stories as they feel them.
This book is different from his last, an evolution of the author's life. it is a journey of well told stories which enriched Ozan's life and gave way to a metamorphosis. In following him through this journey, Ozan invites us to brave the elements of change and take that leap into our own transformation in the best call to action of life I have seen in a while!
