تقتحم وحدة من قوّات العمليات الخاصّة فيلّا المعادي المشبوهة وهناك يُفاجؤون بالطلاسم والرّموز المرسومة بالدِّماء و التي تغطي جميع الجدران وتتصلُّ بطريقةٍ هندسية بنجمةٍ خماسية تتربَّع في السقف وتمتليء هي الأخرى بالرُّموز، فجأة يعلو صراخ بعض الجنود من الطّابق العلوي للفيلا ليرى الضّابط ومن معه منظرًا لم يشاهدوه مرةً في حياتهم فالجنود يتأرجحون في الهواء مُتحدّين الجاذبية وتحتهم رجلٌ ضخم البنية، عاري الصَّدر وتنتشر الرّموز والطّلاسم في أرجاء جسده...

يسمع الضابط شريف مندور المتواجد خارج الفيلا صوت إطلاق النّار ، يتناول اللاسلكي للتحدُّث مع الضابط والجنود فيسمع صراخهم يطلبون النّجدة وصوت الضّابط يأتيه ضعيفًا: إنّ الجميع يموت..الجنود يُقتلون وعندما استفسر شريف عن القاتل ردَّ عليه الضّابط بصرخةٍ طويلة ومُرعبة:
