Coming to live in Being is also an alternative to the escape routes of excess food, sugar, alcohol, drugs, shopping, etc. You create a life you don't need to escape from.

BEING is the 101 on Being: understanding it, recognizing it, and cultivating experiences of it. Firstly, it leads you along the path towards peace, equilibrium, and happiness by learning to live in Being. Then it expands into how you create all that you want in yourself and your life, by also learning to live from Being.

With a clearly set out structure, BEING leads listeners through an exploration of all that Being is. You come out of your head and into your heart, become awake and aware, and create a vision for yourself and your life. In Head Stuff, we see what we experience by living in our heads, in a mostly head world. In Heart Stuff we learn to live more from our hearts. Then we journey through the five fundamental states of BEING, with chapters on each: Love, Awareness, Acceptance, Gratitude, and Creativity. These concepts are illustrated, and brought to life, through extracts from the author's own journals, detailing the A-Z of her transformative journey to living in and from BEING, making them more relatable for listeners.

For each state of Being, there is a Key Points summary, and a Putting It into Practise section - with tips and ideas to start cultivating each state. The last section of the book, Transformation, has a detailed framework, taking you through all the practical steps to integrating all of the concepts into your life. Finally, the listener is taken through the process of creating their own vision for their life, and building the framework to achieve it.

highly recommended

I wish I'd read this book many years ago. It shows you really simply how to get out of your head, away from those thoughts that go round and round and fill you with self doubt and instead to live your life from your heart. That seems to me to be the key to happiness and fulfilment in life. The author has included excerpts from her own journals and she shows the reader from her own experience how she has managed to do this, and that's really impressive because she has clearly lived it and spent a lot of time working out what works. The book is full of honesty and authenticity.
