About this listen
From USA Today best-selling Author Raymond L. Weil comes the first book in a new military science fiction series.
Can Earth save the Human Empire?
The Confederation consists of the seven oldest races in known space. They control a vast section of the galaxy. All races in that part of the galaxy are subjects of the Confederation and forced to obey the Confederation’s laws.
The Human Empire is well aware of the Confederation and has been careful not to intrude upon Confederation space. However, now the Confederation has decided the Human Empire has grown too large and needs to be brought under control of the seven races.
Warfleets are dispatched, and soon massive space battles erupt throughout the Empire. Can the Humans survive or is the time of the Empire over?

Bad bad bad.
I don’t normally leave neg reviews, but WOW…
Narrated by Zap Brannigan and Troy Mclure’s love child, who doesn’t know how to pronounce basic astronomical features. (I’m looking at you kipper belt) SO annoying I nearly threw my phone on the floor.
Then the story is badly written, the lack of character depth and missed opportunities to flesh out the combat/story with some actual emotion is criminal.
Then, even as a fairly hairy bloke, the female characters where HORRENDOUS! ‘Oh I might be a multiple degree carrying lady, but thank GOD there’s some dude here to fall I love with’. For me, this was the tipping point from ignoring it and moving on to leaving this review. I’m Genuinely shocked this made it past an editor in this day and age.
Given everything above, I’m actually more disappointed with the producer and editor than anyone, this shouldn’t have made it to publication in this state.
