It was only when her beloved wife passed away that Kimberly decided to complete her transition. She took her wife’s death as a sign that it was time to start finally living as herself.

Kimberly thought long and hard about her decision to have gender-reassignment surgery, and she candidly discusses the challenges the transition entails.
