BEST RUNNING BEGINNERS BOOK

I've been running for many years including marathons. My times were getting worse over the last few years. I decided to go back to basics and found George A's Beginners Luck. It's packed with practical advice that is helping me crush bad habits. Thanks George for giving me my mojo back.

Brilliant for beginner and improver

This is a brilliant little resource not only for beginner, but also for improvers. I wish I had had it at he start of my running journey. There is a brilliant 10 week plan, and because they are titled with big cat names, it seems to remove the pressure of having to complete week one for example. But it is so much more than a running plan, they are loads of tips and resources- on warm ups, kit, fuelling / diet, breathing, and potential injuries, not to mention the mindset stuff. There is also a website with loads of video clips and additional information. I've been running for a few years now, but I have got so much from this little gem! Thanks George!

Brilliant, recommend to all runners

I really enjoyed listening to this book. It’s really well written and the narration is brilliant. I’ve been running for 18 month and comfortably running half marathons. As comfortable as I am I want to learn as much as I can that will help me progress. This book has definitely given me some great pointers and ideas to build on. Recommend to all levels of runners if you get one golden nugget then in my opinion it’s worth it.

Charming, concise, self contained

I loved this little book. It’s great for beginners and is approachable, motivating, and informative. And probably useful for non-beginners as well.

Also the nutrition section was fantastic.
