Summary
Natalie Scott's life is simple, with no strings attached. As a band photographer, she's made metal music her life, and life on tour means no relationships. At least not ones that last, and that's the way she likes it. She only has one rule. Don't date or otherwise screw around with the client. But she never said anything about love.
Brent Andrews knows Natalie's rules. He's about to make sure he's an exception to them. All of them. Even ones she doesn't know she has.
Fans of Kasie West, Cookie O'Gorman, and Monica Murphy will fall in love with this coming-of-age romance series that tackles love, friendship, and moving on from painful pasts. Each novel stands alone with characters you're sure to love.

Stand alone story
I didn't like this story nearly as much as Out of Beat. I would have had a much more positive impression if Natalie hadn't been involved with a nice guy at the beginning of the book and immediately broke up just because of fear of the band lifestyle. I was hoping it would be a story about making the relationship work despite the band lifestyle, but it quickly turned into another band/photographer story.
The narrator has a very distinctive voice so it seemed a little strange to have the same voice for two different characters in the same series, though that may have been more pronounced because I listened to them back to back. I didn't notice much variation in the voices, but it was a pleasant voice to listen to.
I did like the lyrics and song writing elements and was surprised by the way the journal storyline worked out. I also liked how the characters supported each other. I like the characters and the writing style and I'm interested in reading more by Cassandra Giovanni.

Behind the Lens
The struggles someone has to overcome after a bad breakup varies depending on the people themselves. In this books case it was definitely something that took a while as well as someone special to make it past that and see a future with someone else. I loved watching the feelings bloom between these two and this book definitely had a perfect ending.

Enjoyable
Another enjoyable listen to the Boys of fallout series. Rock bands are not really my thing but I have enjoyed this series so far. Good narration on this book.

Thoroughly enjoyed it!
I really enjoyed Behind the lens, which is book 2 in the Boys of Fallout series. You didn’t need to have read or listened to book 1 to enjoy book 2. I hadn’t and it didn’t hinder me.
Natalie is a really likeable heroine who is trying to learn to trust again after being betrayed, she finally finds the right man in Brent to share her secrets and desires with.

Loved it!!!
This is book two in The Bad Boys of Fallout Series. This book focuses on the lovely Natalie Scott, who is a photographer and she has had her heart broken by bad boy rocker Jase Smith, who cheated on Nat and then stole one of her valued lyric journals.
Since then Natalie has only one rule in life...
Don't date or screw around with the client. But she never said anything about falling in love, insert the hotness that is Brent Andrews.
Can Brent break down Natalie’s walls and help her heal her heart and fall in love again.
I absolutely love this series and Kaye Anderson is quickly becoming one of my favourite narrators out there. She does an amazing job bringing all of Cassandras characters to life, and she gives them each a personality of there very own.

This is a sweet story, with likable characters.
Kaye Anderson’s voice was perfect for Natalie in Behind the Lens; it was easy to listen to.
Following Natalie while she toured with Makeshift Chemistry as their photographer was enjoyable. Seeing her grow as a person, learn to stand up for herself, take back control, and allow herself to feel things she had tried to avoid, all made for an enjoyable experience.
