Summary
Being Yourself Exercise (B.Y.E) is a method of change, and when practiced in sessions with your therapist, the outcomes are that of self-discovery and (potentiality) a new beginning. It can be used as self-help and a method of reflective practice in all aspects of one's life. My selection of a work setting is based on what I consider most the practical illustration. However, Being Yourself is about a sense of wholeness, and not a fragmented randomness or an emotional turmoil around choices. It is a powerful exercise and signals (if only through its acronym) closure to a conflict between values and standards. V.A.L.I.D.A.T.E. is about both empowerment and recognition.

Great mini guide for Self Help and Validation
I have saved finishing this off for the begging of 2022! New beginnings indeed and ways of listening and learning how to Validate, Yourself! Enjoyed every minute of this and found it extremely helpful

A simple and very useful strategy
I particularly liked the acronym and listing various well known values - thought it quite insightful and easy to follow. Narration was paced and articulate.

A handy guide
This audiobook explains and explores a handy tool anyone can use to help themselves and others. What stands out for me is the honest transcript of a session in which this tool is demonstrated, it's a small window into what a therapy session is like. the narrators voice was very clear and soothing too!
