Summary
When witchcraft goes wrong, Hell wants her soul.
Megan Harrison will do anything to help the people she loves, but sometimes love isn’t enough. Even her budding magic can’t stop the man of her dreams from falling off the wagon, nor can she make him fall in love with her!
Crushed by a painful divorce Jack Munroe only sees Megan as a friend. Heartbroken, Megan moves to Cornwall for a new job, a witches’ coven and a new man. She can’t begin to imagine the dangers lying in wait in her new idyllic world. As her life descends into hellish madness, she longs for just one heavenly moment in Jack’s arms.
When Megan goes missing on the wild Cornish Moors, Jack fears the worst and launches a desperate search. Will he realize his heart’s true desire was always within his reach, and will he find the courage to conquer the demons that threaten them, his love and all mankind
Is Prayer-warrior Granma Gwenda the only person who can help them?

Unique and creative story with lovely potential
The book starts out with themes of relationship loss, addiction, and unrequited love in a rather drawn-out relationship background and introduction that for me was quite slow and made it very difficult to connect with the beginning 1/4 of the book. I would love to re-read this book after it is in the hands of an experienced editor. I imagine it will be substantially elevated.
Crushed by a painful divorce, Jack Munroe views Megan only as an old and familiar friend. Struggling to believe in herself, Megan moves to Cornwall for a new job, a witches’ coven, and potentially a new beginning along with a new man. As her life descends into a complicated weave of world-threatening magical madness she longs for her best friend.
When Megan goes missing on the wild Cornish Moors, Jack fears the worst and initiates a frantic search. Admittedly, I became a little confused by events in the book and had to backtrack a few times if my concentration had to be shared with my work: To catch all the nuances and details it needed more concentration than some,
I found it a little challenging to get through this audiobook. It was hard to recover from the slow start though as the book progressed there was plenty of action to draw the reader in and plenty of paranormal and romantic suspense. There is a quite sudden deep turn into religious themes and the war between good and evil. So potential readers should keep that in mind.
I had such great hopes for this book after the title and blurb caught my eye, "Witches and Angels" is a really fun and apt title and the cover was equally engaging. The narration by Katrina Michaels was adequate though a little hard to adjust to.

Narration was good
The story itself wasnt for me personally, but it was well presented and told. Other listeners might love it, just not to my taste
