Wow! The narrator and story are awesome
This is a lovely story I could’ve listened it forever. That Anna Sewell was a brilliant writer and the narrator was the best I’ve ever heard. With some sound effects, this could’ve have easily been a delightful radio drama. I listened to this with my 8 year old daughter and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Loved it
It’s a beautiful story, deep in meaningful.
I had tears of joy at times.
5 stars, absolutely worth listening, and would recommend !

Excellent read
We recommend that you reduce the speed slughtly as the reader reads quite quickly but he he has a very good voice. The story is happy and sad and depressing but is well worth listening to. The pace is excellent. A lot happens in the story so at no stage is it boring. Although no one keeps horses for most of the jobs any more it is still very interesting.

Must read/listen about kindness
This book should be listened to or read by everyone. It has such a good message about kindness and not being cruel to animals and people. Think and learn about possible outcomes before moving forward without knowledge.

Still A Masterpiece
I last read this book as a teenager (which was quite a while ago). It is as brilliant now as it was then. It made me both smile and shed tears. Anna Sewell was ahead of her time.
Narrator was really good too.
