About this listen
An MC President and his enemy’s son make for an explosive combination....
Blade has a motorcycle club to run, and he doesn’t need a turf war on his hands. When a beautiful young man with haunted eyes walks into his bar, Blade’s protective instincts roar to the surface. The kid clearly isn’t made for MC life, but once Blade has had a taste, he can’t let go.
All MCs can burn in hell, as far as Logan is concerned. He’s seen the way his father runs his club, and he wants nothing to do with the life. But infiltrating Hell’s Ankhor is his one chance at escape, and now he’s in the crosshairs of the sexy as sin, President Blade. How can Logan resist the strong, protective man when he’s everything he’s ever wanted in a partner?
But Blade is still a big rough biker who will do anything to protect his club. What will he do when he finds out who Logan truly is? And how much destruction will Logan’s father cause when he finds his son in bed with the enemy?

Amazing story, not a fan of the narration
Though I wasn't a fan of this narrator, Blade and Logan's romance was captivating enough to keep me listening. I've always loved motorcycle club stories, and the concept of Blade and Logan being from rival MCs gave this story an almost Romeo and Juliet feel. With plenty of gritty action and steamy moments, these men kept my heart racing as I listened to them fall in love. For a bunch of bikers, Blade's club felt as warm and welcoming as any close-knit group of friends. I loved seeing the members embrace Logan despite his caginess and general lack of trust. As Logan stuck around in Elkin Lake day after day, it warmed my heart to see his walls start to come down as he softened around Blade and the club. When trouble came searching for Logan, as I knew it would, I was both terrified and desperately hopeful that love would win out over secrets and misdirection. Things were pretty dicey for a while, but Blade and Logan proved that what they built together was stronger than any outside interference.
As much as I loved the story, I wasn't a fan of this narrator's style. His pacing was too slow for my liking, which I tried to fix by reading at 1.4x speed, but that only accentuated the way he kept pausing between every third or fourth word. As I got invested in the storyline it was easier for me to ignore the speech patterns, but I kept getting pulled out of the story by awkward pauses, mispronounced words, and repeated phrases.

I was looking forward to this Audible as I had already read the book.
The story itself was great. I was a bit disappointed with audible.

My intro to my favorite MC series
The son of a cruel, abusive president of the Vipers motorcycle club, Logan flees toward a new life. His car breaks down in the territory of the Hell's Ankhor motorcycle club and the attraction between him and their president Blade is immediate. The relationship develops as Logan saves the life a Blade and another member of the club but Logan cannot bring himself to tell Blade his true identity. The Vipers are trying to invade Ankhor territory by selling deadly, adulterated drugs. This story is a three strand rope that will tie you up in it until you finish and strain your nerves to the breaking point - Blade and Logan are clearly in love, Blade and his club rightfully hate the evil Vipers and want them out of their territory for good and Logan can't figure out how to tell Blade his true identity without losing everything he has come to love. How it all comes to a smashing conclusion makes for a very satisfying ending. I cannot wait to read the stories of other members of the Hell's Ankhor club and see Blade and Logan make appearances there. Some violence, obviously, but not overdone or gruesome if that isn't your thing. This was my intro to both this series and the world of m/m MC stories and it remains my favorite series in the genre. It was glorious to hear Andrew Morrison bring the characters I love so much to life. Her performance was exactly how I hoped these guys would sound and it drew me in immediately just like the book did.

Definitely worth listening to
This book had me hooked from the first few minutes, the storyline was well paced and the introduction to the main characters was really good. I loved the progression of their relationship it wasn’t automatically easy and carefree. They had to work at it and I found that really enjoyable. Can’t wait to listen to others in the series as this was so good

Blade 💪🏼
Blade is the new young President of Hell’s Anchor MC and one night Logan falls on his lap. Blade is a good guy, strong and an awesome leader. Logan starts as weak though he is anything but. The story has lots of action, a bit of violence and sexy romance. I love the narrator’s voice but there are some errors on the audio. It was distracting. Overall, I throughly enjoyed the story.

The start of a wonderful series!
This series is amazing! Every book got me at the edge of my seat glued to every page, and this book started it. Logan and Blade’s “enemies to lovers” story has an interesting plot, intrigue, action, danger with a lot of hot scenes and romance. However the plot is about more than that. It is also about friendship and loyalty and sacrifice and how family is not always about blood... An amazing story with wonderful characters and motorcycles, and if you added the great performance of Mr Morrison, his smooth voice and a sensible management of the characters, you'd find out why the audio version of this book is a must for all the fans of Aiden Bates and Ali Lyda. Loved it!

Enjoyed
I enjoyed listening as Logan doesn’t want anything to do with any MCs but will he change his mind once he meets Blade.

Intense
A really good story with dynamic characters and a great sense of family. Everything's laid out for you to meet, love, and enjoy the characters and biker family. A unique family of misfit bikers and this story follows the new leader Blade as he battles with leading, loss, and a surprise love.
Poor Logan, my goodness what a tortured life at the hands of his father. Evil and discussing man, I really wish there was more closure on that part of the story but I get the feeling the fight with the Viper's is going to be an overarching storyline for the series.
Logan and Blade are perfect for each other and I loved seeing their connection blossomed and grow. There were a few miscommunication moments but I actually liked how these were done!
I love this family and can't wait for Gunner and Raven's story up next.
I listened to the audiobook of this one and while the narrator has a great voice their "narration" felt very "read" and didn't really flow like I'm used to. There were also some weird pauses and a few minor discrepancies when listened to with the eBook.

Great MC book.
Logan is on the run and has secrets. The last thing he wants to do is get involved with a MC. Blade is smitten right away, and Hells Ankhor isn't a typical MC. These guys are supportive and tolerant. Its great not dealing with homophobia that a lot of MC books portray. The question is - what happens when Blade finds out Logans secret? Is there a way forward. This is the first of the series and it is great. The series is really good. I thought the narration was okay for this though not great. This was my first listen for this narrator. I was able to enjoy the listen
