Summary
The cold of Siberia meets the chill of betrayal.
In a world where loyalty is fleeting and alliances are temporary, John Milton is on a mission that will bring him face-to-face with enemies old and new. When his friend, Alex Hicks, finds himself pursued by mysterious adversaries, the two men are thrust back into the web of international espionage.
Navigating a perilous path that stretches from the war-torn streets of Ukraine to the icy wastelands of Siberia, Milton will stop at nothing to protect his friends and expose a conspiracy that could topple governments and jeopardize global security. As Russian intelligence crumbles from within and a new, unpredictable threat arises, can Milton outwit his most formidable enemies yet?
From the clandestine corridors of French intelligence to the explosive frontlines of a covert war, Bloodlands will keep you on the edge of your seat, questioning where true loyalty lies. In a daring game of cat and mouse that sees Milton, Hicks, and an ensemble of unforgettable characters crossing paths and double-crossing enemies, the stakes have never been higher.
Don't miss this lightning-paced installment in the John Milton series—a tale of betrayal, survival, and the relentless pursuit of justice.

Solid Milton
Ok, so this one is no New Orleans or London or even Scotland but still, it's good. I feel like Milton should perhaps be retired... Or maybe put on a little hiatus. However, whenever the next book comes one, I'll get it right away.
Oh and the performance - top notch, as ever!

Brilliant Milton
another fantastic John Milton story. exciting storyline which sees Milton and friends trying to find Control whilst the unit does its best to hunt him down. David Nash does an excellent job of narrating this book as usual and to me he is John Milton, so please don’t ever change narrators as it would certainly impact my enjoyment of this wonderful series of novels. i’ve read Reacher, Wolfe and other novels in this genre but John Milton is head and shoulders above the others imho. always excited when another Milton novel drops so hopefully it won’t be long before we find out the mystery of the airpods! thanks for another superb escape from reality and roll on the next!

doesn't disappoint
Always enjoyed the John Milton audiobooks and had this pre-ordered. duly dropped into my library and not been able to put it down. spare time taken up with is cracking plot. if you're a fan then it's one to get, new to JM then a great listen/introduction. I'm just sorry its finished and now await the next installment, hoping its not too long in the works. In the mean time I'll be revisiting John's catalogue.

Another great storyline from Mark Dawson
I am a great fan of the John Milton series and "Bloodlands" continues in the same format. I enjoy how the established characters continue in their individual styles, and new characters are introduced and developed and seamlessly merge into the picture, whether briefly or for longer periods.
As with all books in this series it is very difficult to put down, and found myself regularly having to listen to the next chapter.
Looking forward to the next adventure!
