Summary
This Body Language masterpiece contains proven steps and strategies on how to easily understand what others are saying to you through nonverbal communication and what you and your body language is saying to them!
Psychologists praise the power of body language. Using it, you can decode the inner thoughts and/or emotions of others even without listening to the words they're saying. You also have the ability to adjust your behavior based on the situation you're in, and you have better chances of making other people like and believe in you. Simply put, body language can do things that words cannot.
This audiobook will explain to you how body language works and how to better understand what other people are saying with their body movements and expressions.
Whenever you are communicating with someone, you give nonverbal signals. These can be gestures, the way we sit, a touch on the arm, and many other different things we do throughout our communication. While we all understand nonverbal communication subconsciously, learning how to consciously understand our body language will not only give you a better understanding of other people - but also better control in all aspects of life.
Through learning how body language works, you'll also discover how to better tailor your own body language.
This audiobook will show you how to change your body language to appear more confident, powerful, knowledgeable, and attractive.

This book transformed not only how I look but also
A great book. It opens really eyes. For instance, I would never thought about what a handshake with someone can tell you. Out of habits that I have done for years and years, I had no idea that with my body language I am actually also speaking. I learnt how to be open and receving through this book. This book is a helpful beginners guide to body language, its meaning, and how one may project certain messages without even realizing it. I've learned what to look for in others, as well as in myself. It's taught me how to be more self-aware of my own body language and what message it sends to others.

Fabulous book for body language.
Author conveys a broad knowledge of the subject. Additionally, a gifted writer who writes clearly and in depth. Book is well organized into meaningful snippets easily absorbed. This book was well written. I'd say the writer's skill of people reading was well translated into writing. The words come off as actual words from the author. I took a college course on reading body language, and this excellent book covered the same ground. good book for body language.

Best book for body language.
I took some useful knowledge, tips and tricks from this book. I always find body language interesting. Shaking hands with someone you just met, does tell you a lot about that person. I like to keep it simple and have a universal approach to this. But from my life experience I personally don't want to shake hands with anyone if it's not necessary. I thought this book was excellent. I was particularly struck by the analysis of individuality and culture it presents. I've lived in foreign countries so it makes sense to me that gestures are culturally influenced. In college, for example, I had a professor who taught both French and German

Really good book.
I really liked this book. It gave some great insight into being able to detect if someone is deceiving you or not. There are some basic social cues that were discussed but there were other social cues IE paying attention to the feet and legs when trying to detect if someone is lying. Also there are clues to tell if someone is actual smiling or faking a smile. The book ends with giving some insightful information on being able to get people to let there guard down and tell you the truth. Body language is something that all business people and parents should master. Knowing where you stand in a conversation. Provides all the more help in understanding the other side.

Heart and Brain are the best!
The humor regarding Lawton was amusing. Having been there I experience similar moments with my parent. Rafferty was careless in paying attention to him and their backs. People in her father's condition need to be watched at all times because they are like kids and will wander off every chance they get. Even though they are mentally deficient they can be clever. The premise of this book is that communication between individuals occurs largely through body language. Excellently written and insightful about the fascinating world of speaking through one's actions instead of words, this book has many interesting and useful ideas...even if only to remind us of the importance of body language.

Helpful guide! Must listen
It’s a masterly book of body language. I got an idea about what is body language, body language and posture, body language and the art of dating, body language and interviews, decoding body language, how to become a human lie detector, things you do that you shouldn’t do, giving yourself the mirror test, interpreting person’s smile. There's just so much to learn about body language. This book describes nearly everything! It's an easy to learn, but hard to master skill, but this book makes it easier. It's well written and easy to listen. This book is easy to read and I could understand the examples and concepts that were given in the book. I would recommend to anyone who is interested in learning about body language. It could also affect the way you think about your body language when you walk into a room or into an important interview or such.
